The SPACESAVER is a standard three chamber unit designed specifically for situations where space is extremely limited.
With a width of only 19″ and depth of 22″, even a closet or small corner can now be turned into a bathroom! The SPACESAVER has almost the same size Bio-drum as the COMPACT, so composting capacity is similar to that of the Compact. Installations include, but are not limited to: cabins, cottages, homes, yurts, pool houses, cabanas, bunkies, camps, treehouses and workshops.
On the other hand, evaporation is limited by the smaller heater and evaporating surface, so the safety drains should be connected.

Our SpaceSaver is installed at the family cottage which is used nearly 365 days a year.
Installation was a ‘snap’, I installed it myself in less than 2 hours. We opted for a Sun-Mar because of the cost of a septic system and the fact that I didn’t want to disturb the trees around the cottage. I also like the idea of being able to use the compost for the plants. I have nothing but praise for the Sun-Mar.

Our Sun-Mar is installed in our RV. The RV is on a permanent installation in the Adirondacks. We were unable to secure permission from APA for a septic system thus the composting toilet. Aside from a few minor glitches all is going well. We vented it through the bathroom ceiling vent and that works OK.

We use the composter at our remote high desert home. It certainly provokes thoughts on solutions for the need to conserve water here in the arid West.
