Stoney Creek, ON – The Cantrell Creek Trout Farm takes stewardship of their farm and the surrounding wilderness seriously. Between their location in the depths of North Carolina’s Headwater State Forest and the dam that feeds their fishery, Cyndi Speciale and her staff are always conscious of the measures they need to take to protect their surroundings. When she and her husband purchased the farm, it became clear that a traditional waste management solution would be at best expensive, and at worst, terribly damaging to their environment.
