Fans are an important part of electric composting toilets, and we have a series of fans available to guarantee your toilet is functioning properly. Each fan and motor assembly can be easily replaced by the end user or by a handyman of your choice. If you notice that your fan is not operating the way it should, contact our customer service department. Before placing an order, make sure you have your serial number. The serial number is necessary. Without it, Sun-Mar cannot guarantee the part you are ordering will fit your make and model of composting toilet. Conversion Kits for Electric to Non-Electric or 12V Operation
Looking to adapt your electric composting toilet for non-electric or 12-volt use? AC/DC kits are available to help you make the switch. These kits allow you to convert certain electric models to operate without electricity or with 12V DC power—perfect for off-grid living or areas where power supply may be limited.
If you’re considering a conversion, be sure to have your toilet’s serial number on hand to ensure compatibility. 115V Fan & Motor Assembly for electric composting toilets made from 2004 – present. This kit comes with a replacement fan plate and full instructions for the repair.

This fan will fit all electric Sun-Mar units manufactured from 2004 onwards.
This kit will not fit Centrex Plus, Centrex 1000 or Mobile/SpaceSaver units.
12 Volt Fan
This fan is only for non-electric composting toilets. The 12v fan comes with its own 12″ length of pre-cut pipe. It can be easily integrated into the 4″ vent stack for non-electric composting toilets.
SpaceSaver/Centrex 1000 Fan – POST 2006
This kit includes a fan and motor for the above make and model of composting toilet. Please note that this fan will not fit models other than the SpaceSaver and the Centrex 1000 made post 2006.
