Overview
The CENTREX 2000 NE (Non-Electric) is the non-electric version of the CENTREX 2000 which is fitted with a 4″ vent stack. This high capacity composting unit is perfect for medium to heavy seasonal or light residential use.
The 2000 NE composting toilet system was designed for installations where conventional electricity is either unreliable or unavailable. The 2000 NE allows for both a longer composting cycle, and larger waste volumes. The Centrex 2000 NE is designed to be used when you have space for the composter away from the toilet. Installations include, but are not limited to: cabins, cottages, homes, businesses, resorts, camps, treehouses and workshops.

What flush toilets can the 2000 NE use?

We are very pleased with our investment
We were pleasantly surprised at the results the first time we emptied the drawer of our Centrex 2000 NE. The compost was not offensive at all. The toilet is very easy to maintain. We use boiling water and your “Compost Quick” to clean it. We have a solar powered fan attached to it. We feel that a composting toilet is the only way to go in a setting such as this. However, we also feel strongly that composting toilets should be introduced in “on the grid” settings as well, because they make good ecological sense.
