The Centrex 1000 and Centrex 1000 NE composting toilet systems were designed to have the familiarity of a conventional flush toilet and the nature preserving efficiency of a composting toilet. The Centrex series is designed to be used when you have space for the composter away from the toilet. Installations include, but are not limited to: cabins, cottages, homes, businesses, resorts, camps, treehouses and workshops.

“Units sits behind lattice that easily lifts off for access. The unit works very well and I extended the season by heating the air through a 3″ intake duct on a thermostat.” – Lloyd M, Centrex 1000.
“Our cabin is on a hillside, lots of rock and gravel. No place to put a septic system, even if we wanted one.
The 510* bowl has a straight drop to the Centrex 1000 in a insulated, heated containment unit under the floor. A flip up door allows for turning the crank without total loss of heat for winter use, very dry year, lots of drywells, doesn’t worry us. The environment office suggested a compost unit when I called for a site inspection.” – E.M.O., Centrex 1000.
*Sun-Mar no longer offers the 510 as a companion to the Central composting toilet systems. The AM Style II is now available for composting toilets requiring an ultra-low water flush toilet.
“Operates even better than expected. No smell, easy maintenance, and easy to install.” – John F, Centrex 1000 NE.
“Since the installation of our Sun-Mar composting toilet there are no more trips to the outhouse in the middle of the night wondering if we’ll meet a “rattler” on the way. What peace of mind! Care and maintenance is so easy, we wonder why we didn’t make this installation years ago.” – Robert L, Centrex 1000 NE.
